AUTOMATION FOR THE PHARMACEUTICAL AND COSMETIC INDUSTRY

The pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry is growing fast, oriented by technology evolutions. The advance of manufacturing processes towards a logic of “small batches” and the intensification of regulatory issues requires a rethinking of plants and machinery, suggesting the need for an open discussion between the automation suppliers and manufacturers of these areas.

With the aim to discuss the new demands market trends for the implementation of new tehcnologies and solutions in process and products, the Eng. Massimo Ghelfi, Fedegari Automation Manager, took part in the Round Table: The Automation for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry – the new frontiers of the manufacturing process. The activity was carried out during the SPS IPC Drives Italy, the main exhibition for automation in Italy.
